I love Sylvia Plath, especially her poem Lady Lazarus.
I was interpreting that poem this year on some competitions and such and I have to say that no text I´ve ever had was so disturbing. It doesn´t happen to me often to get into the text so deeply...
As though something was hidden there, in the poem, and I was finding it in turn. Part of myself. The Sylvia in me.
At the end I became stronger - I´m rising and I will do what I want again!
I don´t know whether she really felt like this when she was writing it, but I can tell it was like a miracle, feeling I have never had before!
I´m glad I can tell that my interpretation of this poem was always highly appreciated.

And that´s what I wanted to express by this altered book. To create something material from something immateriable, to hold something unholdable,
materialize that Sylvia inside of me, that Sylvia which came out only for some minutes but was so strong that I will
never forget it.
And for me, this feeling, the big fusion of all those feelings,
really is stuck inside this book; the film of sounds, visions, emotions and smells.
